Just A Little Caulk And This Baby Will Float

Our friend Craig is building a small sailing pram from a kit using new construction techniques before attempting a larger boat. Quarter inch plywood panels arrived with hull pieces cut in the panels by a CNC router. Small tabs hold the hull pieces in the panels making for easier packaging for shipment.  A saw cut frees them for assembly.

Tie wraps hold the hull together

Tie wraps pass through holes in the panels and hold everything together. The panels are then epoxied together. Assembly is quick. The finish work and getting everything smooth and pretty will take a bit of time.
